hi .
the last time I ran driver verifier my computer ended up in a constant boot and restart loop and I couldn't stop it , this put me off running verifier again, because I had to , or felt the need to reinstall windows 10 because of that fault
This morning I have left AVG antivirus running and no blue screen crashes, also left computer idle for about 15 minutes and no blue screen error , so maybe its possible for windows to iron out bugs itself the longer you use it?

ok the reason Driver Verifier use is to show which driver is causing the blue screen
it's normal for the computer to blue screen when running driver verifier
the last time you did run driver verifier it show that your amd video driver was causing the problem
it's possible windows updates can fix the problem or sometime amd will release a new video driver

Today I ran windows defender full scan without it crashing , I have uninstalled AVG , and have windows defender as my only virus scan , I've heard that it is a good virus checker , is this true , and could you recommend any malware software ? As I feel that I may need this is future as other virus scans feel like bloat ware

I am hitting on windows defender but it's pretty poor at protecting from Malware / virus
I would go with Avast free long side malwarebytes pro
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium
avast free
also you should disable windows defender if you are going to use any other antivirus program

As much as I enjoy reading this post, is it still about "Windows 10 Product Key Activation Issue" it seems to be going off topic a fair bit. can you start a new thread. Thanks.

I see no reason to buy a new copy of windows if you have a genuine copy. It sounds like a hardware problem let's test the hard drive first.
