ASUS Back Down Over Motherboard Warranty Policy
Asus now says their motherboard warranty will now cover BETA BIOS after major problems. Consumers were reporting that AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series chips were overheating and damaging the motherboards and CPU. AMD later blamed the problem on the SoC voltage on the processors reaching unsafe levels, with Asus also pointing fingers at the memory overclocking through the motherboard’s EXPO technology.
