I installed Windows 10 version 1151 on a DELL Inspiron Laptop and encountered no problems thereafter.
Following the anniversary update when booting the Laptop it stalls prior to the logon screen and displays a white cursor on a blank background for a very long period of time.
This only seem to occur when starting from cold, and does not seem to occur when doing a restart from the desktop.
In order to get around this problem pressing the on/off button which turns the laptop off then pressing the on/off button immediately seems to overcome the problem.
Has anyone else encountered such an issue.
