I will have the folders, on the side, in a particular order. Then if I close Outlook the folders will go back to the previous order. For example, if I move the Junk folder to below the inbox, then close and reopen Outlook the folder will go back to the previous position: that is back to where the J-folders are listed. Any solutions? TIA.

Hi Guys,

Upgraded Windows 11 to 22H2 and since then posted videos from youtube within Facebook no longer play. (this is on Chrome) the same youtube video plays if I log onto FB using Firefox.

Tried clearing cache etc.

*** update *** If I right click the link to the youtube video and paste it onto Chrome it plays?????

I have a graphic card via PCI slot, which I use to connect it to my 3 Monitor, so my question is, is it possible to use the graphic card onboard at the same time with the other Graphic card on PCI Slot, I want to connect my 4 monitors to Graphic card onboard, I want to use it only to display a simple page like browsing on internet.

I am having to build my Mom a new computer as her very limited dual core laptop cannot handle windows 10 anymore. I was trying PC parts picker to pick the parts. My question, when ordering online through PC Parts picker https://pcpartpicker.com/   How to make sure that the processor I pick matches up with the memory and motherboard needed and let me have no compatibility issues? Does PC Part Picker do that automatically? I haven't used this method of buying computer parts when in the past, I have just driven down to Microcenter and picked up the parts in person. So, I am asking if PC part picker automatically chooses correct Mobos and processor match up?

OK- so I've made my recovery/rescue disk.
I've even made my system image and saved it to a couple of
external HDD's.
I even backup my registry file and save it externally.
OK then.
But I'm lazy - and if my PC fails to boot because some file is missing or corrupt
what is the easiest way to repair the files needed to get the OS back?

I'm happy to boot to cmd.exe and go from there.
What should I make a copy of using the command line which I would subsequently
access to reinstate the OS?
What's the most important stuff to keep safe and copy over when you have to repair
your boot up using the command line?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi all,

I've started to get explorer/libraries opening up when I start Win 7 Ultra.
Never happened before and no clue why.

I know it's a regedit tweak and I've checked WINLOGON key
and SHELL explorer.exe  "value" is not shown if that means anything.

Done the routine checks and nothing amiss.

Can anyone help me start the road to discovery?
I'm not a beginner and I'm comfortable with the command line.

I have been using SYNCTOY 2.1 (64bit) for quite a while now, but stupidly thought I could delete some of the Microsoft Sync Framework 2.0 components from my "C" drive, and, as you probably know, Microsoft have stopped supporting SYNCTOY so a number of the Sync Framework files are unavailable.

When I run Synctoy 64bit it throws up the attached "Exception during preview: Retrieving the COM class factory etc. CLSID{C201C012-C929-4D72-B9C5-341D48630630}" screen showing error: 80040154.

I have looked at error 80040154 on the Internet but no solution jumps out.

Can any of you very clever technicians help me please?

Hi Guys, couldn't find a windows 11 section. How can youtube autoplay be disabled for all videos and not having to select 'no autoplay' from the selection in the actual video itself.
