My system crashed while installing graphics driver and kernel mode driver

Yeah, i also searched my windows folder and i didnt see a mini dump file inside

Is it possible that since i installed the intel graphics driver from intel instead of the Microsoft generic driver that when i tried to install the Microsoft driver that it conflicted and thats what my pc crashed because it seems to sing the way i like but the fact the dma part is enabled by default kinda has me worried because as far as i know hp 15 f272wm doesn't have dma

Soo windows 7 isnt a good idea as i should have known considering the crash and then it got to the point where all the normal desktop showed but the words period didn't show and the start menu was a glitch as if my system was lacking sources. So wiping the hard drive clean and installing 8.1 and then leaving it alone. Thanks for all your help
