I figured that, but the problem is, on the back of the laptop, I can only read most of the keys, the last couple I cant make them out Huh

You can request restoration media for your computer from HP.

Just a quick question... if I get the "Windows 7 64b SP1 + Supp 2 Recovery Kit" for the laptop, will I still need to get some type of windows key? Because like I said before, I can only read most of the key, the rest of it is faded off.

If you get the recovery kit from HP it will auto activate when installed. No need for a key.

Okay, I got the recovery dvds, and bought a new hd. Everything is up and running with my sisters laptop. Thanks so much! Big Grin
