Keep a head of the game and keep Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 Definitions up to date
The Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 is a FREE Antivirus scanning tool that lets you preform malware / virus and rootkit scans in a Live CD environment which works outside of windows. As a PC Tech we use Kaspersky on a daliy basis and it takes a very long time to update. You can end up re-downloading the entire ISO file to cut down on updating time..but you still have to update some definitions. This way is by far the best way I have seen and it cuts a lot of the time out that it takes to do a simple task.
