I get asked this question a lot “is Windows defender any good” and “is Windows security good enough to protect your pc in 2021” Windows Defender or (Windows Security) comes as standard with Windows 10, But does Windows Defender offer enough protection? Smart Screen is very effective at blocking malware and stops it running on your computer, but it’s only effective when your computer has an internet connection. So how does Windows Defender block ransomware? not that great to be honest.
