Antivirus Software Now Includes Crypto Mining
Crypto Mining is big business and I am not sure it should be included in antivirus software, but Norton and Avira antivirus software have decided to included it in their software. It will use Ethereum and you need to opt in to use it.
These companies have millions of users that could possibly mine Ethereum on their computer. Norton and Avira with get 15% on whatever you mine and there will also be tax to pay and other fees. Also your electric bill will be higher and there is wear and tear on your hardware. Norton and Avira have full control over settings, so is it worth it? NO.
