REC560, maybe it can defrag faster in safe mode
windows defrag doesn't open in safe mode, so i will defrag manually without safe mode

Yes you are correct. I am trying it out from command prompt. I started it at 6:16 pm I will let you know. If you want to try it from command prompt just open up an elevated command prompt and type in Defrag /C: hit enter

No from the desk top it took about 20 minutes . I'm going to try it from safe mode now.

Nope can't defragment in safe mode period.

safe mode is used for troubleshooting I see no need to defrag in safe-mode
