So what exactly happened as you tried deleting the restore points? Please be as precise as possible, Kowshik. If it failed with an error or something, let us know what exactly it was

If you just say that it did not work, and leave it to our imagination, that won't help. Please understand that you have to help us in order to help you.
ok partha..this happend

It says restore point was deleted successfully..but it still there..I have deleted all drive's res point..like I said ..if I create a new one now..it will be deleted but the old ones remain untouched..
I think for some reason, it's not able to identify those previous restore points. Was System Protection already disabled for the F drive before you tried to delete the restore points?
Yes partha..it was disable in the first place..all of those drives were..
I wonder if it have something to do with the user account

if you create a new user account is the problem still there ?
Well, if the system protection was already disabled for that drive, those restore points couldn't have been created in the first place if you ask me

I am guessing those restore points are from a previous installation. That can also explain why the points are not identified
Open the command prompt with admin rights and run the command as shown below...........  you ran the command initially for the volume c:

vssadmin delete shadows /for=f: /all

If it doesn't work, I would suggest taking a backup of the contents of the drive that you require, and then formatting it
partha...same result..nothing

I might have to frmat the drive..hope that will work..
