Thanks RECdevicehelper. I use it often. But it isn't solving my problem. I want to create a new sys vol folder for that drive.. I hope that will solve the problem.

GuiltySpark I have tried those tricks/method .. I created a new restore point.. the system creates another restore point.but it does not effect the old one.also I tried to delete but it does not delete old bad one..but can delete new one. I tried to delete from cmd using rmdir /as "system ..... ....."/s and del /as "sys........"/s.. but didnt work..is there any tool that can delete this?

Why don't you just delete all the previous restore points and see if that makes a difference?

I already told you how to delete restore points, this will solve your problem.


Here is another way

Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Click Disc Cleanup
Now launch this utility and click More Options tab. Under which click System Restore and followed by that click Clean Up tab a message will popup -Are you sure you want to delete all but the most recent restore point? Click Yes then OK. Finally, another message will pop up- Are you sure you want to perform these actions? Click Yes.

Now, all the System Restore points except the most recent one are cleaned. As a result, there will be more free space on hard disk.

Ofcourse partha..I tried earlier....I have posted it on GuiltySpark's comnt. the system creates another restore point.but it does not effect the old one.also I tried to delete but it does not delete old bad one..but can delete new one..that is why I dont think it is a regular normal sys restore point .

Spark's post was not specifically about deleting the restore points; it was more about resizing the space allocated for System Volume Information

I asked you to delete all the previous restore points by following the instructions in that article that I've linked.
