If I run a speed test on my laptop in the way of wi fi and get a speed of 4.5 mbps download, then I run a test with the same laptop but hooked up directly to the modem and get a speed of 10.3. Does that mean my router needs replacement?.

D-link AC 1750 I"M about 25 feet away. The router is in clear view of all my computers. It's next to an outside wall.
The signal is -60 to -50 dbm on this app I have on my phone (wifi analyzer) The computer that is getting the same speed test result is connected directly to the router.
