*URGENT*
I was going to burn Ubuntu to a USB flash drive on my laptop running Windows-10. I was very careful to NOT select drive “C.” The only choice was drive “E” after inserting the USB drive. (Still can’t figure that one out????) So it seems my “System” partition, the one to the left of the “C” partition. About 10GB got turned into what was supposed to be my USB drive. Now when I boot, I boot into Ubuntu Live. The process re-named the other partitions as well. The main partition, the one with all my apps and data on is now “D” and one to the right of that got re-labeled to “C.” All my Programs and data are still there on the large partition now labeled “D”.
I could use the install USB and re-install Windows and keep my data – I think. I would loose my apps and that would be painful enough.
But it would be so nice if I could just re-install the “System” partition to Windows-10.
Unfortunately my last “”backup”” was before I upgraded to Windows-10. 🙂
