Hi Smirk24,

If the was installed separately on the motherboard and did not come with the motherboard, then yes, make sure onboard audio is disabled in the BIOS.

Firstly, I would suggest you use Snappy Driver Installer to install that missing driver. Make sure Expert Mode is ticked and Not Installed is ticked under "Found in DriverPacks". If you find the driver "Game Port for SB Live! Series", select the White Square beside it and click Install. Also, make sure tick "Create a restore point" before you install the driver, in case anything goes wrong.

Let us know how that goes, if it does not work, I will provide an alternative solution

Smirk24, try Britec's solutions, if they do not solve the issue, try this alternative solution

Here is an alternative download link:
https://devid.info/en/205715

Make sure you click on devid-driver-205715.7z (3.5 Mb) as highlighted in this screen shot:

You will need 7-zip to extract the contents to a folder on your desktop. After that, go back to device manager, right click unknown device and click update. Then click "Browse my computer for driver software" and browse for that folder that has the driver files and finally click next.

Hopefully, this should work Smile
