it's set to automatically, i don't see new updates since last month? any ideas?

Just search for winver as illustrated below and press enter. It will open a dialog with the version and build number of Windows. Let us know your version and build

Once a month on Patch Tuesday usually the 2nd Tuesday every month. (wednesday if not in the US)

These are the latest updates and on august 9 you should have got 9 security updates. Try downloading Windows trouble shooter it might fix your problem https://goo.gl/ZrrXKF
