i was talking about unallocated space before or unallocated space after

i clicked on C HP 452GB and it does nothing even right click

unallocated space after enter 432128MB select ok

Select a partition, right click it and select "Resize/Move partition".

Position the mouse pointer on the left partition handle. Drag the handle rightwards to shrink it.

Click OK. You will preview the decreased partition on the disk map

Click Apply

yes -you can install Linux I would do a check disk first
if you need help with installing Linux start a new thread
