Why Do Microsoft Do This? Microsoft are removing items from the control panel in Windows 11. Devices and Printers old legacy location has been removed and when you click on Devices and Printers in control panel, it takes you to then new location in the settings panel. Microsoft are removing all the old locations in control panel and redirecting people to settings panel in Windows 11. These have multiply clicks to get to the same location, why? People have been using the control since 1985 when it was interduce to Windows users.
