Why Can’t I Install The Latest Windows 11 Update. Today I will show you how to Force Upgrade to Windows 11 25H2 using group policy editor and registry editor. You can use this method to stay on a particular version of Windows 11.
Location in registry editor: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
1. Create (String Value) and name it ProductVersion with the value data of: Windows 11
2. Create (D-Word 32 Bit Value) and name it TargetReleaseVersion with the value data of: 1 (hexadecimal)
3. Create (String Value) and name it TargetReleaseVersionInfo with the value data of: 25H2 or what ever feature number you want.
