I thought Win10 would be continued for another year, due to some of the small print. But thought it might be a pay for extension. Having several machines using Win10 for hobbies and interests I will keep these going till the end. I have a couple of Mini PCs with Win11 and I have also installed on these Linux as some of my old softwar will run on Linux and these were a test bed.
What I don’t like is having switched off in GP the preview and major feature updates. My task bar and start up window still keeps changing. I thought it was security updates only being done. So I have one laptop that I don’t use often now but the task bar keeps on going to left of the screen, even though I keep setting to bottom. I suppose they could use the security issue to update start windoe but not the task bar position.

I only update the Win11 mini PCs when you and others say it is a bit stable or bug fixes. So far not had any issues but do not know what build was placed on by the manufactures. But did have some minoe bloat that I removed from the start. I am now due for an update when I can find the time as some updates last year took several hours.
