Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - smirk24 - 07-24-2017 I ran a Farbar Recovery Scan on my system because it seems a bit glitchy and in my frst.txt log i noticed a bunch of arrows with the word attention so i ran eset online scanner and came clean but hitman pro is telling me utorrent is malware but other than that im clean. so what do you guys think? [attachment=2933] [attachment=2934] [attachment=2935] RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - GuiltySpark - 07-24-2017 Not sure on all those Attentions, they are all policy restrictions which could be a result of AV or tweaking or outdated installers and certificates. Make a backup image and try running a fixlist to see what happens. I suspect it's software that's put those restrictions in place . RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - Britec - 07-24-2017 What security software are you running on that computer, please list them out in your next post RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - smirk24 - 07-24-2017 Just so that i understand You want me to make a system image of my system then place all the files that have the word attention next to them into a fix list and then fix using farbar recovery scanner? 360 total security Malwarebytes antimalware Zone alarm RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - Britec - 07-24-2017 Have you ever install Crypto Prevent or software like that because these make changes to Group Policy and add restrictions. The reason I ask is Malware add restrictions on the computer to prevent them and security from functioning properly. So I want to know whether is software or malware related. RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - smirk24 - 07-24-2017 i totally forgot about that. you are good britec lol yeah i had crpto prevent installed but i uninstalled it or so i thought [attachment=2936] RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - Britec - 07-24-2017 I am the best only joking. Tools like WinPatrol, Crypto Prevent etc will add group policy restrictions on the system to stop ransomware from doing damage and installing on the computer. RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - GuiltySpark - 07-24-2017 And that's why you wear the crown RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - Britec - 07-24-2017 STOP! THINK! ANALYZE! ACT! REVIEW! that's the way I do things. That's the management training skills kicking in RE: Farbar recovery scan tool has noticed possible viruses? - smirk24 - 07-24-2017 lol ahh i see. so what should i do? |
