Malwarebytes Pro Update Issue - HighTide - 10-08-2014

Issue with Malwarbytes Pro not being able to update or scan without crashing.
Looked all over, with no happy endings, feel it's a post infection registry issue, but would love your expert advise Rolleyes

Have you tried full uninstalling and reinstalling the software?

Yes, with their uninstaller.

The mbam-clean.exe or just the standard one?

Here is some instructions that malwarebytes are asking you to do.

Malwarebytes v2.0.1.1004/2.0.2.2012 crashes on update and/or scan

Both, as well as Revo Uninstaller as last resort.

1. Please uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build -  MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back the requested logs - Diagnostic Logs
3. NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here -  Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

As with the topic starter in link post, still no luck in resolving this.

What I have noticed on afflicted system is with MalwarBytes "Enable self-protection module" mentioned in above link. It's button is greyed out, so can't disable it.

Please follow information above.
