how do you label Usb sticks - TopFreeware - 09-17-2014 Any techs or members here found a good way to label their various USB sticks? RE: How do you do it? - ray - 09-17-2014 I know its not a great way and it can wear off, but I have used a felt tip, but its a good point if you have a good few with different things on and you can just look at the label and see what it says, think you can buy machines that do it but that goes beyond the D.I.Y and costs a bit. RE: How do you do it? - GuiltySpark - 09-17-2014 To be honest all my sticks look different apart from two (which are always being used as testers anyway). the rest are different sizes, colours, even shapes and as such i know which ones house my OS's, which have malware tools, and so on so I've never needed to actually 'label' them. RE: How do you do it? - Britec - 09-17-2014 Just a label on mine RE: How do you do it? - Mike-m5 - 03-18-2017 (09-17-2014, 01:45 PM)TopFreeware Wrote: Any techs or members here found a good way to label their various USB sticks? I use a Dymo Label Manager Plug n Play printer. It uses 9mm and 12mm wide adhesive tape cartridges. The tape is plasticised so doesn't disintegrate when removed from a USB stick. The units aren't cheap, round about £40 on Ebay. The results are very professional. Good Luck!
