hi,

So I'm writing to ask if you are able to shed some light on how one goes about infecting the MBR to result in the system failing to boot.

I've downloaded and burned multiple rescue disks (ISO's) such that I'm able to boot the system from a CD drive.

This is nothing more than training for me to better understand what happens when there is Zero access.

I guess my other question would be which of the rescue disks that have been mentioned in Brian's videos are considered the best when it comes to repairing a corrupted MBR?

There is a 101 ways to go about this task, choose which way you like best and use that. There is no real best way to do it.
