Hi, I'm a new member looking to fix but also learn, my Median PC had just updated VGA software, on restart it went into constant reboot, I would choose reboot in safe mode, each time it rebooted the same screen came up, I did look for an answer online, now I have a message "reboot and selecct proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key". As I don't have the disc that came with the pc, I have need of expert help, can anyone help.. Undecided
Sounds like your hard drive has failed. Can you go into your BIOS and confirm your hard drive is listed there?

I have looked and yes it is listed, the PC now displays "reboot and selecct proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" I have tried to find something that relates to that message on the open internet, your site looks to have the best expert help
that message means you have a bad hard drive

replace your hard drive
I would run some diagnostics software on the hard drive before I would replace it. I'd run something like Seagate Seatools from a bootable disk.
