ok since you format the hard drive you would a vista installation disc

since you are going from windows 7 to vista on that hard drive

or if you are going from vista to windows 7 you would need a windows 7 installation disc

ok now everything is sorted. what i did was i put the hard drive into the vista pc and formated with win 7 OS. Now everything is running smooth. All i need now is to download Pecard Bell drivers.
