G'day all,
Having an issue where the mouse pointer freezes intermittently,  lil bit annoying to say the least.
Any helpful ideas that come to mind what to look for will be greatly appreciated.

is this a wireless mouse wireless mouse do turn when inactive

if its not a wireless mouses  you can try this

open your Device manger

[b]Uninstall   HID compliant mouse

and Ps 2 compatible mouse

then restart[/b]

• Whats the make and model of the mouse?
• Have you tried a different wired USB mouse?
• Check the mouse in 'Safe Mode' to see if it still freezes up?
• Clean out all you're old USB drivers.

Its a wireless mouse, the receiver is less than 24 inches away from the mouse.
Its an OfficeOne elcheapo but these have never played up before, always work great, full batteries too.
Win8 64 bit machine.
Its not playing up this morning.......
I will keep a check on these suggestions and reply once it starts happening again..
Dont you hate it when this happens, report the problem and then when you go to try fixing it up, its gone... grrrr.

Sounds like wireless interference.

Do you have any USb 3 devices connected to the PC?
If so, connect the wireless USB dongle using a USB cable (do not plug it in to the USB socket directly)
