OK Thank you  guys, I did make my bootable usb witht no probs, another quick question, I went to asus for the drivers for the g73jh i am installing on, but I can't seem to find all of the drivers for it, is ROG a reliable source or can someone point me to a better place with a little more explanation,  TY in advance
is this your laptop https://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/G73Jh/

the laptop only support windows 7 drivers

are you trying run windows 7 drivers on windows 8.1?
Yeah that looks like it, I got windows 8.1 up and running well, the only issue I have is that the wimax/wifi goes to limited access every now and then, so I just plugged in a USB wireless adapter and it works fine, I will keep working on that, TY Compton and Brian for your feedback. I found windows 8.1 drivers,
This laptop does indeed take windows 8.1 drivers Bro, but TY still for ur feedback
ok glad you got everything working
