If its clean and safe to use. But is it any good? Better than malwarebytes pro?

never use it before what I would do is to test it in a VM before using it on your main computer

i am using malwarebytes free edition and microsoft security essentials combo, does spywareblaster removes adware?

SpywareBlaster is a decent program which uses practically zero resources. It's not designed as a anti-malware removal program, more of a prevention. It won't protect you against Virus, Trojans etc but it will give your browser(s) protection against Spyware, Hijacks, and Browser Related Adware.
- I use it on my Windows system and have never had any trouble with it.
- It is safe to use as long as you download from it's source https://www.brightfort.com/ (at least it was when I downloaded it many years ago).
- It runs well with AV programs and MBAM Pro or SAS Pro.

I have not used it that much to see how good it is. I would go with GuiltySpark on this one, because he is using the software now.
