I need help trying to get out a stripped screw on a Dell laptop. The bad part is that it is one of the hard drive screws so I can't use any rough operations on the screw.
If anyone could help me please tell me your ideas,

Are you talking about the HDD plastic cover or the HDD metal case/caddy?
I have shaved off the screw head by grinding it off with a dremel tool. After I was able to remove the part being held down I was able to get a grip on the remaining screw with a pair of needle nose to finish removing the screw properly. I then just replaced it with another good screw I had laying around my shop.

The problem is that the screw can't be access easily with a dremel
If you can't get access to the screw with a dremel tool, try and tack a bit of wire on that screw with some solder and you should be able to remove the screw. If that is still not possible because of access issue, then the only other option is drilling it out with a tiny drill bit, but there is a lot of risk with drilling and should be used as a last resort.
