Setting-Up a Wireless Computer to Obtain an IP Address Automatically
Hi Brian,
Everything is set up right. I restarted the wwan service and the yellow exclamation mark went away and I had a clean bar for a few minutes, so I was excited for few minutes, but it returned before I can check for internet connectivity. So I am back to square one. When I got this machine it was very very badly infected. Don't know.
Have all the viruses been removed and is it a fresh install of windows?

Yes all viruses have been removed. It's not a fresh install of windows because I nor the owner has a windows 7 cd. I just noticed Compton's suggestion that I missed yesterday, so I am going to try that and post the results. Meanwhile anymore tips and suggestions are very much appreciated.
Thanks
Again I suggest a live environment to rule out hardware issues.

Hi All,
Latest update, I reinstalled Windows7 Home Premium and can now connect to the internet via Lan, but still having problems connecting via wan. The wan bar will show internet connected for a rather brief moment then the yellow exclamation rears its ugly head. Attached are screen shots of Windows Network Diagnostics and screen shots of ipconfig etceteras report.
