Hi,
I want to swap my current hardrive with xp to another pc, but want to know how to make this work.My current hard drive has an oem version which i guess is linked to the motherboard. I assume the new pc would reject this. Is there a way ?

Brian did a video on that with Windows 7





If you are trying this with a OEM machine you may run into difficulties with the activation.

If you are doing this with a custom computer and you lose activation just re-activate it using your key.
