The britec computers video on youtube titled "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. the selected disk has an MBR partition table" is excellent.

It is simple clear and lucid, however

I have a major problem with the process
1. I have three partitions on my 1 Tera Byte HDD.
2. The command "list disk" only shows one disk 0 of size 931 GB.
3. Where are my other two partitions.
4. I have Win 8 installation CD.

SOS !!! I can't loose data on the other two partitions.

Please help !! It's an SOS state.

Thanks in advance to all the intelligent user who can help me.
Your drive is MBR and it need to be GPT. If your trying to install windows 8 or 8.1 The easy way too solve is to delete all of your partitions, then create a new one and install will work.
But it sounds like you don't have any backup of your data. If you was re-install to Windows 7, this would not be a issue.

You could temporary disable the EFI Boot feature in the BIOS and see if that works for you.
Are those other partitions assigned a drive letter?
