I may have posted some of this previously.

I used the GMT - Shift + F10 and Bri you the man what you show actually works. It was so smooth an install.

I am a Mature IT Student and get free lifetime Microsoft Software through Dreamspark via the Campus.

I at first tried installing Windows 10 Tech Preview on a partition next to Vanilla 8.1, error updating therefore it would not work. ISO from general Microsoft website.

So I disabled UEFI < what is that?; and secure boot, then installed Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Pro on a Toshiba Satelittle P50T.

It all worked, without Easy BCD and had the Windows 8.1 Grub showing Win7 and Win 8 but after going through all updates for Win 7 and then updating Win 8.1 Pro twice, I could not boot into 7, and lost it on Grub. I had used 7 many times while updating.

Now I have Win 8.1 Pro and it works fine but no Win 7 even though it shows in partition.

If I install Easy BCD will I get the dual boot back?

Should I try Wind 10 Tech Preview without 7 as I have spare 2 partitions of 450GB free@
