I was reading this post (I put an attachment underneath) from a previous thread and I was wondering about the tweak unload dll which (correct me if I'm wrong) but it unloads unused dll's from ram?

Is this a good tweak?
In my opinion, I have not see much improvement in modern computers.

Windows Explorer caches DLLs (Dynamic-Link Libraries) in memory for a period of time after the application using them has been closed. This can be an inefficient use of memory.

1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
2. Right-click Explorer in the right pane of the registry editor, then create a New Key. named 'AlwaysUnloadDLL' Now set default "Value Data" to '1' This will disable Windows caching DLL in memory.
3. Exit the Registry Editor, Now just Restart Windows to finish.

Restore the Registry Setting to default

Change (Default) value to: 0
Oh ok thankyou britec. Yeah I was just curious and thankyou for showing me how to do it but ill take your word for it. Is there any tweaks that wernt mentioned in the pic I attached that have a big increase on performance?
I will try and post some tweak that will work good.
Awesome thankyou Smile
