Hi there everyone,

I have a issue that I hope someone here is able to solve.

My new built PC brought retail about 6 months ago has developed a issue with Facebook, every time I go on to the Facebook page and login as normal my pc freezes and then restarts. This happens regardless of what web browser I use, the freeze and restart is very fast and there is no error screen or crash report or blue screen.
I have told the retailer I purchased the PC from and they couldn't figure it out. it rhymes with (Pee in the sea world)

This can happen at random times whether I am on Facebook from 2 minutes to hours, any other website and its fine no problems.

All system and windows updates are up to date, and no new software or hardware has been added it's factory new still.
If anyone can help me as this is driving me nuts.

You could check Event ID for error to see if its there.

1. Click Start button > Type event in Search Box. Select Event Viewer
2. Navigate to Windows Logs > Application, and then find the latest event with “Error” in the Level column and “Application Error” in the Source column
3. Navigate to Windows Logs > Application, and then find the latest event with “Error” in the Level column and “System Error” in the Source column
4. Copy the text on the General tab.
5. Open Notepad, paste the text, and then save the log as .txt.

Connection I use is Wired.
Perhaps the information in this article will help you. This guy is getting the same event id and description error as you you are.
Hi Lee,

The things I would check.

1. Contact ISP (could be a internet Service Provider issue)

2. Network Adapter Driver issue.

3. Router Issue (Try a Rest of the Router)

4. IP Address Conflict

5. Also try DHCP Renewal
Hi Britec, Big thank you and I donated a couple of quid.

[Solved]

It did turn out to be my router drivers after I checked everything else, I updated the drivers from my ISP website and restarted my machine and router.

It worked!!!!, no more issues while using facebook.

Thanks again to all that helped.

Great community help I am very grateful. Smile

Lee
