Hi,
I often fix a few laptops in my spare time. this ones a right strange occurance. On booting after cleaning of spyware etc on a laptop It would appear that it was actual booting up as normal BUT has been saving all the photos and documents etc made and used on the owners works drive via some sort of networking defalt,
Basically when the network connection is on and accessible its not been saving at all on the laptop, looks like its been saving them by default to there works server/ network drive automaticaly SO when they have been working on their laptop they think its been savign to it and its not.
Has any one experienced this? Trying to say to them ive not wiped their files at all and this is why.
And as expected no network connection means they wont see their files in their document and picture folders. Can some one confirm please, (Running on XP 32 bit) Thanks
