I've accidentally (yes, under stress) formatted an external 6tb Seagate hdd with the Microsoft MediaCreationTool20H2 tool.
Obviously have I searched the net after viable solutions, but nothing that has a potential one for my purposes.

I would like to salvage my 6TB drive with the original folder structure and the 2.6 tb used. Yes, not the full hdd were in use.

Now, please do only reply if you've been in this situation or a close one. I'd like to get input on what software that can help me get things back.

Thank you in advance.
I can answer this myself since I've found a solution.
Of all the "free" and paid software, I tested these with the result I have been looking for:
1. DMDE - DM Disk Editor and Data Recovery Software
2. Stellar Data Recovery
3. Minitool Power Data Recovery.

My intentions were to keep the folder structure and not recovering 1.000.00 mp3 files in one lonely subfolder.
I hope this helps others.
I must add that nothing beats Quetek's File Scavenger. That has been my favourite tool.
