Who would have guessed. What's happening is after the download and it's installed I reboot the system. Now, what happens is after the numerous reboots, as it goes to the sign in screen all of a sudden the system removes the update! I I have re-downloaded the update and tried it again. The same things happens and I turned off Norton AV and disconnected from the internets.

Now, I have everything downloaded again and I'm ready to reboot. Is there anything I can do previous to the reboot? TIA.

Fixed it. I knew it had something to do with the anti-virus but didn't realize I had to uninstall, update, then reinstall Norton. Only took about 10 minutes.
