Full Version: wifi keeps disconnecting

hi all,
i am using dell laptop with windows 8.1 64 bit.
for last few days my latop wify disconnecting again and again.yellow mark showing on taskbar icon with "limited connection" mouse over text.when i click disconnect,and after some time i click connect then connecting.but after 5 minutes it disconnects gain.
this story i going on.
i searched internet and done some tweks.but the problem still there.
i tried to connecting to onether wify network and checked.the problem is same.
please help me in this issue.

what is manufacturer and model number of the computer
Also please see if the results are the same when in Safe Mode with Networking.

Uninstall your A/V temporarily to rule it out.

my laptop dell Inspiron 15R N5110.
and there is no antivirus in my system. my laptop operating system windows 8.1, 64 bit.
my wify network signal is fine in mobile...same wify which i use for my laptop.the problem is in my laptop only.

i downloaded that driver file.
but when i double on setup file  a error came.here with i am sending screenshot of that error.

you downloaded the wrong driver, in any case, we will get back to that


open device

select network adapters

select on the wireless driver

right click  select Uninstall

select yes


then reboot check to see how wifi is working

after searching tonnes of webpages...i got this solution.

after applying the trick told at 3.10 minutes in this video my problem gone.
now my laptops wify now works well.

Ah there is a difference between "disconnecting" and "no internet access".

Glad you got the problem sorted. Thread closed.
