Tried downloading this from
https://www.hirensbootcd.org/ on both Chrome and Firefox.... both stopped the download and said "file stopped due to malware or virus". Is this a US issue?

Make you download it from this site. https://www.hirensbootcd.org/hbcd-v151/
Just tried this link you sent....here is the result...
Update...This link on Firefox is working. It's downloading!!! thanks!
Ok. Now that I have the file downloaded...I also downloaded the hiren's usb maker tool that is off the same link you sent... I am having a new problem. Formatted a usb and tried to use the usb maker tool to put it on the flash drive... here are the results... any ideas?
thanks Compton, for the good link. Tried the USB maker tool on the Hiren's boot CD site link you provided. It didn't work... however...Rufus did it with no problem!! Thanks again! Thread closed
Not working for me, but thanks anyway. Still produces error "This file is dangerous, so Chrome blocked it" No option for continuing the download only "discard". Again, Firefox and Chrome both stop the download saying it has "malware or is corrupted" . Guess I will disable "Automatically send some system information and page content to Google to help detect dangerous apps and sites
Protect you and your device from dangerous sites
in the settings of chrome, and see if i can get a download. Gonna check it with virustotal to see what it brings up.
this is my google chrome security settings
do you have any security extension in chrome or firefox?

Downloads good for me using Chrome in US
Something has got to be blocking it because it works for me as well
I am thinking it is my Chrome settings... I do run "trafficlight" , HTTPS everywhere, and Windows Defender Browser protection, but none of them are giving the error. It's the chrome settings. I am going to disable those settings in Chrome and try again.
Successfully downloaded it. Had to disable protection settings in firefox to get it to work. Virustotals results come up clean.
