btw my windows 7 boot cd wont let me let me use mouse and keyboard  how do i fix that
what is manufacturer and model of mouse and keyboard?
If your motherboard has ps2 ports try those. If you do not have a ps2 mouse and keyboard you can buy a ps2 to usb adapter for cheap. Obviously slip streaming the usb drivers into the iso is another way to go.

the trouble is this was cloned from my old hard drive on my old pc with the x99 motherboard into a X299 one which Tim had trouble get the mouse and keyboard to work until he remote control it and put in the drivers, this pc was custom made as well.
What boot cd are you using? is it a winpe disc? if so you can add your drivers to the disc if you want.
