What should I look for in order to find the provider that suits me best? Of course security, but what else?

By Host provider you mean Web Host?

Yeah, I meant web host provider. I just added it to the title.

I use cloudways super cheap and super fast.

What exactly did you look at when you compared them with other providers? I mean, I want to be able to compare a few and see which one will work best for me.

Just the usual stuff like:

• What is your budget?
• What are you hosting?
• What are your hosting needs?
• How many sites and domains are you hosting?
• Do you need Email?
• Do the host do backups? or do you have to backup?
• Good support is essential ie Live chat and phone support
• How big is your site? 
• What sort of web traffic you going to need?
• Do you need VPS or dedicated hosting?
• Good server reliability and up time
• Full C Panel access? 
• Host upgrade options available?
• Do you need to run e-Commerce? or specific shopping cart software?
• Do you need to run any scripts or 
• Know your hosting account limits before you sign?
  

Thank you so much, your answer contained some good points I  forgot to go through! When I did my own research, I found some other criteria that I should keep in mind . Like how much rights as an admin are they going to give me, or the boundaries they might set. Since my idea also includes online sales, I have to secure payments as well. Are you aware of providers that I should stay away from?
