When doing a scan with Avast Preformance Scanner. It came back with a few things
and one being that I needed to turn off AutoEndTasks. So after doing a little research
I changed the value within the reg, but Avast still insists that it needs turning off, even tho
it is (I think).

Am I correct in thinking that 0 = off

It's not "Avast" Registry settings. it's the results from an "Avast Preformance Scan" regarding "AutoEndTasks"

Looking back I think it's just Avast trying to get more money from it's end users. I've done as you have suggested.
