Hi, normally I would use ConvertX to Dvd but this tends to hog my resource. Is there any lighter, fast program out there?
(paid or free).

Also is it correct that Dvd players (uk) these days can play avi files without having to be converted?.
If this is correct, then it will save me a load of time.

It does not support any os above win 7. I should have mentioned what I am running. Win 8.1 64bit.

edit: I've got Ashampoo® Burning Studio 19. Can the discs play on a normal dvd player?

Just run in compatibly mode and it works a treat
