Hello, a couple of days ago, i was scanning my system with malware bytes and after about 6 mins it froze up on me and i got a blue screen, i restarted the computer and rescanned the pc again, and it did it again. now im having trouble with opening up any anti-malware or any other programs that have any programs that have anti-virus program in it (UVK). I believe this might be an infection. when i use task manager, my cpu is up to 95 percent, and i have a lot of run. dlls running. should i back up everything and reinstall windows? please help
Try booting into safe mode and see if you can run any scans. It's never a bad idea to back up your data.
Try and run sfc /scannow in command prompt
ok run sfc /scannow in command prompt like Britec said
Perform SFC scan
Click '
Start' > Type cmd in the search field >
Right-click the command prompt at the top of the list and select '
Run as Administrator'
Inside the command prompt, type
sfc /scannow > Press '
Enter'
