I have an extended hard drive with some movies in a folder. When I went to delete a folder I get the error. 1 Interrupted Action An unexpected error is keeping you from deleting the folder. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this Problem. Error 0x80004005: Unspecified error. I looked online and seem to only find it has something to do with WPA not with deleting a file or folder. Also when I go to properties it's 0 bytes in size. Oh last thing is I tried using FileAssassin and IObit Unlocker with about any help. Please, can someone help me?
Just a suggestion but have you tried renaming the folder that can not be deleted by putting an exclamation mark at the front of the name?

For example, consider Holiday folder cannot be deleted.

When you navigate to C:/Pictures\Holiday in Windows Explorer and hit DEL, you'd get the above message? Hit F2 and rename 'Holiday' folder too '!Holiday' (Or right click the folder and select rename).

Try deleting it again after renaming it and it should delete, This method has worked for me a couple times in the past. If it doesn't please get back to us.

Hope this helps.
Sounds like a permissions problem. Follow the steps provided in the link

Once you have successfully gained full control of the file then try deleting it and report back to let us know how it goes.

See if it lets you delete the folder in safe mode

Please try this:

Download TakeOwnership

Install the registry file and once done, right click on the folder you want to delete and click TakeOwnership on the context menu, once complete, see if you can delete.
