Hi Compton,
After uninstalling Kaspersky, NPE started to scan!! Attached are the files. I then did the SFC scan and it did not find any integrity violations. When I tried the Clean boot, the machine seemed a little faster, but then after a few more reboots and startups thereafter, it seemed to be a little slow again (I guess it being an older machine doesn't help). When it starts it takes sometime to see the Dell logo, and then to the login. Oh, should I still run Kaspersky Rescue Disk. I got a hold of windows 10 machine that I can create one.
Thank you
I hold off Kaspersky Rescue Disk. for now

How to Get System Information for Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
Hi Compton,
Attached is log file from Eset, and the system spec file.
Thank you
Cdiana
I think one of reason you have slow startup besides malware is that 2 GB memory is pretty low
even with malware being clean off the system with 2GB memory it would startup slow
after having system clean up from malware I would upgrade the memory
even with a memory upgrade windows 10 may still work with that CPU
this should help with startup time somewhat
how to speed up your computer boot time
run a scan with panda cloud cleaner
Hi Compton,
I ran Panda as you recommended in previous thread and clean I had the program cleaned what was found. I will run msconfig next. Have we ran the gamut on this one? I am thinking of cleaning the fans and GPU before I return it to the owner this coming Thursday. Would the system run on 4 Gigs? I am learning a whole lot about cleaning malware.
Thank you so much for all your help.
cdiana
yes 4GB of memory will make an improvement on the system
cleaning the CPU fans heatsink & GPU is always good before you return ower or client
but you will have to disassemble the laptop to correctly do so if you not comfortable doing that it better
not to clean CPU fan & GPU
