its always the same with these coders, people never support them and donate to help maintain or encourage them to continue. When they are gone people complain 

Gutted! I've been using it for over a year now!

It will still work but without updates it will become vulnerable and unsafe to use over time. 

with classic shell not being supported it may be a good time for people to start using windows 10 start menu

Or they can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free before Microsoft turns it off on the 31st...
