Full Version: (ex) FAT32 flash inquiry

i want to do a recovery save on a flash drive. but its named exfat..what is an ex fat? theres no way for me to change it back to fat32. ive had problems with this particular brand before.
















btw, my pc is out of bsod. back to normal operations

cheers. after chose to do recovery on that flash, it fixed the (ex) part..but recovery is taking a while..is that normal? last night tried to do it and took over 4 hours, I aborted until restarted just now. its a 64GB flash

I actually meant the recovery from the blue screen but anyway, if you could please explain  what exactly you are trying to do on that flash drive, that would help

Some recoveries take a while, especially from drives that are failing. Aborting a recovery lessons the chance that you will get data off of it the next go...

I translated it to be saving recovered data... why be critical with the OP after another was already told not to be critical with other members?
